Renfrew Cricket club was formed in the year 1904, its has the distinction of being one of the first multi-culture/ethnic club in Renfrewshire. The
club history is as diverse and rich as is the history of Renfrew.
RCC roots goes back to the years when people belonging to various cultures and ethnic backgrounds came to this part of the word for immigration
during the golden era of Scottish shipping industry.
RCC has been through its share of ups and downs, it was sheer hard work and commitment of few people on its committee which made sure that not only
the club survived through its turbulent times but it is regaining its lost glory of the past.
RCC pride itself for introducing Cricket as a sport through its dedicated and highly qualified team of coaches to a number of Renfrew’s primary
and secondary schools, the list of schools is ever increasing,
